Yom Kippur
Thank you for your kind words, glad to be of help... Although the Biblical prohibition specifically forbids consumption, the accepted Halachik practice is not to put anything into one's mouth. As such one should obviously not brush their teeth on Yom Kippur.

Yom Kippur
The subject that you have presented for Yom Kippur was very helpful in understanding the proper way to observe the Holiday... however I know that we are not to eat or drink as stated, neither bath or wash oneself, but what about brushing of the teeth, because although we're not swallowing the water,, but merely swishing it around in our mouths, is it permissible fo brush our teeth?
