Yom Kippor strengths and promises
Beautiful and touching. The words in this article stimulate so many thoughts especially this time of year. "Since when does food give us strength?" Such powerful words in this article. A friend of mine an elderly Holocaust survivor recalled after singing Tushe Shabbos niggunim reported, " I can only remember the hunger, It was the only feeling I could not rid myself of", "I lost value for all life including my own, got used to death and loss beyond your wildest dreams, but the hunger was always there". So we we fast this year, remember the wonderful things we have in our lives, our lives, our abilities to go forward no matter what our situations may be and to remember we are a nation united. We are Klal Yisroel and we need to be strong and we need to remember and we should have a happy safe and peacful year and fast like we know we will eat in 25 hours. An easy fast and life and Ahavas Yisroel in the New Year.

riviting story!
i was so engrossed in reading this, i was shocked when i finished. what happened? i too would like to know what happened to these people in hiding. how beautiful that her mother reminded her of Yom Kippur and that they kept that day holy in the midst of such madness. did her father live? did her mother? this is a novel or a memoir in the making. such a touching story and what a tragic figure max was. fighing against his own beliefs and tormented in his soul, yet finding some kind of joy in life, which he brought to this child. and what a terrible ending for him, as for so many. and for the child who waited for him, and is perhaps still waiting, a terrible loss.

Please finish
Plese continue:.. What happened to your father?' How did you come out?? Every one has its own story of his ordeal and should be told... My mother Z´L took it with her, and never told it...

WHat Happened Next?
This piece moved me very much, emotionally. However, I notice that others who read this have the same feeling I do - what happened next? I know what my children must feel when I close the book and say "that's all for tonight, we'll find out what happens next tomorrow night...". Well, I've waited quite a few days, and still want to hear the next chapter in the lives of these beautiful people.
