Canadian PM to Address Rabbinical Conference

Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper is scheduled to pay tribute to the victims of the Mumbai terror attacks at a reception at the House of Commons Thursday coinciding with a regional gathering of 100 Chabad-Lubavitch emissaries.

The afternoon reception in Parliament's Centre Block is hosted by the Canadian Foundation of Chabad-Lubavitch.

Said Rabbi Chaim Mendelsohn, director of Chabad of Centrepointe in the Canadian capital of Ottowa: “For the leader of a country as great as Canada to participate in a rabbinical conference is powerful and overwhelming.” ...
