New York City’s iVolunteer program, an initiative of Chabad-Lubavitch of the Upper East Side, will be hosting its first Fundraising Dinner on Sept. 25.
Under the direction of Rabbi Tzvi and Elisheva Tauby, the project – which recently announced a new branch in Montreal – coordinates home visits for Holocaust survivors.
The dinner at Manhattan’s Edmund J. Safra Synagogue will be chaired by supporter Pat O’Gorman, an entertainment industry pioneer whose career includes helping found CNN and serving as an executive producer for the Television Food Network, as well as winning four Peabody Awards. …
