Canadian PM Hosts Menorah Lighting

Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper participated in a Chanukah menorah lighting ceremony in his Ottawa office.

Harper was joined in the capital by Rabbis Berel Mockin, director of Chabad of Quebec, Dovid Hayes, director of Chabad of Ottawa, and Chaim Mendelsohn, public affairs director for the Canadian Federation of Chabad-Lubavitch; and five children from the city’s Rambam Jewish Day School.

After the ceremony, Harper distributed chocolate coins to the children.
