The Anatomy of an Encounter
What a moving report Rabbi Zaklos shares! A simple conversation with its candle metaphor, twenty-five years ago, shone in the darkness at the UN now thanks to a receptive student in Bibi Netanyahu and the wisdom of the Rebbe.
Bibi's recollection of the events on Simchat Torah in 1984 at 770 with the light from the ceiling bathing the Rebbe and his brother-in-law dancing with the Sefer Torah amid chassidim, was so touching- what a visual image to share! Small wonder that he felt "the strength of generations" and although he did not say, dare I infer, intense joy. It's been said that 'to live in the hearts of those left behind is not to die'. Thank you.
