What a sweetly-written first post, and those rovers in the picture look all ready to go. Their excellent attitude glows from their faces. I hope they have enough to eat. I am looking forward to more!
PS I recommend bringing lots of almonds. They have good nutrition, and they do not spoil.

I'm inpatiently interested in reading each exciting entry from this enchanting ensemble of Roving Rabbis! Last summer, the roving Rabbis revealed rambunctiously written reinactments of their amusing adventures, filled with the spiritual seekings (and often satisfaction) of those so-very-fortunate souls whom they met along the way. For any of you curious chabad.org commrades, stay tuned for a terrific time! (FYI, alliteration has always attracted me as a perfectly pleasant poetic ploy!) Keep up the wonderful work!

Oh joy! I remember last year's Roving Rabbis blog and can't wait for this year's edition!
Is that Chanan character going to blog again? And what about the Lightstone dude?
|
Sorry, Chanan is finishing smicha this summer in preparation for his marriage, and Lightstone is already married! But thanks for remembering us.

Added to blog roll! Can't wait for more!

Chanan: Nice to hear you're engaged! Maybe you'll grace roving rabbis with a guest post of thoughts of a former rover?

You forgot to add New Zealand on the map, it's way down there past Australia. In fact in CH CH, New Zealand, our roving Rabbi is "Yisroel," he has been so wonderful and a credit to Chabad. We have been very blessed here in CH CH. We have had many of these special Rabbis and each of them leave a warm feeling here with us. Thank you so much from our family.

When are you going to visit Africa on your tour? I think you will find the most loving and giving Jews of all. Did you know we have Jews in Africa?
